Explore the future of Navy Textiles & Clothing
Hear the Navy Clothing & Textile Research Center and Navy Supply Systems Command talk about their priorities
TBD: July 2021
401 Tech Bridge, the Rhode Island Textile Innovation Network, and the North Carolina Military Business Center are joining forces to host a two-day workshop where innovators from design, industry, and academia can learn about Navy clothing and textile research and priorities. Innovators will be eligible to apply for a private appointment to present technology and capabilities to a team from the Navy Clothing and Textile Research Facility and the Navy Supply Systems Command.
If you are a textile designer or manufacturer, a university lab or innovator with an R&D focus and textile technology capabilities, you will not want to miss this program and will want to apply for an appointment to pitch the Navy clothing and textile teams.
Registration will open soon for a 2-day event in July 2021. Email us to ensure you are notified when registration opens.
As part of the Manufacturing Institute’s Diversity and Inclusion efforts, they will host a virtual roundtable that will feature voices on the forefront of the ongoing work in manufacturing to end racial divisions and enhance equality and opportunity.
The discussion will focus on best practices that can be adapted and implemented at your facilities, and the key steps leading manufacturers are taking to create inclusive workplaces and the communities they operate in.
Moreover, this program will be directly targeted to an audience of manufacturing leaders like those in Rhode Island —those who have an interest in starting, enhancing or sustaining their current Diversity and Inclusion efforts.
We all have a responsibility to be part of the solution, and to come together to create positive change. The Manufacturing Institute, the National Association of Manufacturers, and Polaris MEP would welcome your participation.
